To celebrate the upcoming release of A Bride for the Season, I’ll be giving away autographed copies of my first two books. The first, An Heiress at Heart, is up for grabs right now on GoodReads! If you haven’t read it yet, here’s your chance to win a copy of my debut novel, which was a finalist in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious RITA® contest. Soon I’ll have info on how to win A Lady Most Lovely, as well as a Barnes and Noble gift card. Enjoy!
The e-book copy of An Heiress at Heart is currently on sale for 99 cents at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, iTunes, and other e-book retailers!
If you haven’t yet read it, this is a wonderful opportunity to check out the book that was nominated for the Romance Writers of America RITA® Award, and that Booklist describes as “A clever historical and subtly inspirational romance…filled with emotion and sexual energy…The classic historical plot will appeal to many readers.”
If you have already read and enjoyed An Heiress at Heart, please tell your friends about this awesome deal!
I had a fabulous time at the Romance Writers of America annual conference, held a few weeks ago in Atlanta. Over 2,000 authors, editors, agents, and librarians attended the conference. It was a fantastic time of learning, recharging, and inspiration.
One of the highlights of the conference for me was taking part in RWA’s annual Literacy Autographing. Over 450 authors participated, with the proceeds going to support literacy programs. Here’s a photo of me just before the event got underway. Because my book An Heiress at Heart was a finalist for the prestigious RITA award, I got to have a blue RITA flag flying at my table!
And while I did not get to take home one of these lovely statues, I’m thrilled beyond words to have been nominated.
I’ve posted more photos over on my Facebook page. I hope you’ll hop over and check them out.
Happy to announce that An Heiress at Heart has received an Award of Merit in two categories of the HOLT Medallion Awards: Best First Book and Long Inspirational Romance.
What I love about this award is that it is selected by a panel of romance readers. An Heiress at Heart has been so well received by readers, and this is just one more indication of that. You can read more about the HOLT Medallion Award here.
I’m very honored to have received this award!
I’m so happy to share this cover for A Lady Most Lovely, the next book in the Love’s Grace trilogy!
Also, I hope you’ll sign up for my newsletter–I’ll be sharing more news about the book and giving away advance reader copies this summer!

An Heiress at Heart releases today! If you’ve pre-ordered it for your Nook or Kindle, I hope you woke up to find it there this morning.
In honor of the book’s release, I thought I’d show you some pictures, “scenes,” if you will, from the book. The following are from the Great Exhibition. (For more details about this event, see my Extras page here.
Here is the exquisite crystal fountain, 27 feet high and made of faultless pink glass, where Lizzie and Geoffrey have a meeting. By the way, did you know that fountain was the model for the famous fountain located at Forsyth park in Savannah, Georgia? (You can see a picture of that lovely fountain here.)
And here is a view from the second floor, where Lizzie looks down and spots someone from her past:
And here is a lovely photo of the bridge at Hyde Park, where another of the book’s scenes take place. Wouldn’t you like to take a stroll here?
I hope you’ve enjoyed this brief tour through An Heiress at Heart, and I hope you enjoy reading the book!
I’m giving away two copies of the book. Simply leave a comment below, and I’ll choose a winner on Friday.
Thank you for stopping by and celebrating with me!
An Heiress at Heart will be released next Tuesday, October 30, and I couldn’t be more excited!
